Vote to nominate Felix
Felix and his family have lived in the Northeast part of Edmonton, precisely Beverly-Clareview constituency for over ten years. Born and raised in Benin City, Nigeria into a good family who supported and taught him the value of working smart and hard right from childhood. He is calm and focused with a very thoughtful disposition.
He relocated to Canada under the skilled workers program to pursue better opportunities for himself and his family.
Felix strongly believes in building a strong diverse community where everyone has a sense of belonging and feels secure and supported enough to be the best self that they can be. He strongly believes in education, and loves learning and advocates it for everyone around him.
He is a professional engineer who has distinguished himself both in the private and public sector. Felix has MSc. in Mechanical Engineering and MSc. in Information Technology as well as a bachelor degree in Production Engineering. He also holds membership and designations in various professional bodies and associations.
He contributes to his community by actively volunteering in different organizations such as NAIT, University of Alberta, APEGA, his church community, Edmonton Region Immigration Employment Council (ERIEC), Inner-City fundraising, Edmonton Food Bank, Community league, served as volunteer director in various none-profit boards, served in his children school parents' councils and board, etc. He has shown himself to be a staple in any community he is a part of, especially in his neighborhood. He is very engaged and proactive in improving his community, he will be among the first to welcome a new neighbor who moved into the community and let them know the great things the community has to offer.
